Forget Gym Membership - Get Gardening Instead


With summer coming up, now is the perfect time to start working out in the garden. Spending just one hour in your garden will help you burn up to 100 more calories than working out in the gym!

Latest *research proves physical activity, such as gardening, has many health and weight loss benefits which surpass those gained from attending a gym. So, in a move to get the nation fit and healthy we’ve launched ‘Gardening For Life’ by teaming up with celebrity gardener David Domoney and exercise & health scientist Dr Julie Alexander-Cooper .

Our ‘Gardening For Life’ campaign is all about encouraging people to get outdoors roll up their sleeves and get out into the garden.  Over the next few months we’ll be sharing top tips on how to shape up and feel good – for free – this summer.
