Our Head Office is based in Minworth, Birmingham (UK) and we are looking for a Transport Administrator to join our very busy peak on a FTC. The candidate should have experience within a transport or distribution environment. Flexibility is required, between the hours of 6am and 6pm.

Duties will involve:

  • Manage the order well on all UK and Off Shore customers
  • Prioritise orders with Transport and Office Manager
  • Liaise with Sales Office
  • Customer bookings through use of Excel, Email, Internet and Telephone
  • Check Customer delivery requirements and generate necessary files
  • Release all carrier waves (case, OT and Palletised)
  • Liaise with 3rd party carriers
  • Using transport portals such as MFG
  • Maintaining a safe working environment and stick to the company Health and safety policy

Required Experience :

  • Knowledge of transport industry
  • Excel and Word experience
  • Must be flexible with hours
  • Knowledge of transport portals
  • Able to work within a fast paced environment
